BRIKAMA AREA COUNCIL hereby invites you to participate as a Bidder in the Tender described herein. The Gambia Public Procurement Act defines a Tender, as a type of Bid and anyone submitting a Tender or other Bid is known as a Bidder.

 Under the Tender process, there will be a public opening of all bids received at the place and at the time stated in paragraph 8 below.

 

1.   The BRIKAMA AREA COUNCIL has budgeted funds for the PROCUREMENT OF VEHICLES AND PLANT MACHINES and intends to place a Contract for the supply and management of the goods.

2.  The VEHICLES AND MACHINES to be supplied shall be delivered at THE HEAD OFFICE OF BRIKAMA AREA COUNCIL, and the required time for the supply of the goods is 10 WEEKS AFTER SIGNING OF THE CONTRACT FOR LOT 1, 10 WEEKS AFTER SIGNING OF THE CONTRACT FOR LOT 2, AND 10 WEEKS AFTER SIGNING OF THE CONTRACT FOR LOT 3.

3.  The Council now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of

  LOT 1: (a) 4 UNITS WASTE COLLECTION COMPACTOR TRUCKS

               (b) 2 UNITS SEWAGE TRUCKS

               (c) 1 UNIT SKIPPER TRUCK WITH 10 BINS

              

 

LOT 2: (a) 1 UNIT SHOVEL LOADER

              (b) 1 UNIT BULL DOZZER

 

LOT 3: (a) 2UNITS 10 OPEN TRAILER TIPPER TRUCKS

             (b) 2 UNITS DOUBLE CABIN PICK-UPS

4.  The deadline for submission of inquiries and for requests for clarifications is

        07TH MAY, 2024

5.  Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from, and inspect the Bid documents at the office of THE CEO, AT THE BRIKAMA AREA COUNCIL IN BRIKAMA; WEST COAST REGION DURING WORKING DAYS AND HOURS.

6.  A complete set of Bid documents in English language may be purchased by interested Bidders within 30 DAYS on the submission of a written application to THE CEO, BRIKAMA AREA COUNCIL and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of GMD 5,000.00 (FIVE THOUSAND DALASIS ONLY)

7.  Bids must be delivered IN THE TENDER BOX in the office of THE CEO, BRIKAMA AREA COUNCIL IN BRIKAMA, WEST COAST REGION, on or before 12.00 PM on the 22nd MAY, 2024 and must be accompanied by a security of 3% of bid offered.                                                   

8.  Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at THE OFFICE OF THE CEO, AT BRIKAMA AREA COUNCIL IN BRIKAMA, WEST COAST REGION, ON THE 22nd MAY, 2024 AT 12.30PM.
